Amanda, inspiration, goodbye, back, undress

As he looked at her back, longing to undress her all over again, his inspiration, Amanda, hastily walked away whilst whispering goodbye.

light, smoke, pillow, whipped, chat

In Too lazy to assign a category on July 23, 2007 at 8:30 pm

The light was dimmed, he sat down to smoke a cigarette. He was thinking about the chat he had earlier on with that strange woman. She was a fascinating creature yet slightly frightening. They had been chatting for several weeks now and he would love to meet her in real life. Unfortunately this was something he could only dream about, at night on his pillow, or even during the day. Thoughts about her had developed the habit of popping up regularly lately. He thought about her and indulged in fantasies.

Now he wouldn’t talk to her for three days. She would be absent. Had things to do. Places to go. He missed their conversations already. When he told her so, she said he shouldn’t act like a little drama queen. She said otherwise she wouldn’t want to talk to him on her return. The thought of that made his entire being ache. Fortunately she had accepted his elaborate apologies.

He tried to look at the bright side. She had been as kind as to give him some tasks to perform. His intention was to make her proud of him. He hoped he would be able to live up to her expectations. The tasks were rather simple. But he knew it was of the uttermost importance he fulfilled them to her satisfaction. She had made it very clear she wouldn’t bear talking to him anymore in case he failed.

And as a reward, if he did well, he would be allowed to talk to her over the phone. The thought of her sweet voice made his knees tremble. No doubt her voice could be harsh when displeased but he just knew she would have an angelic voice. She was like a Goddess. Everything was perfect about her. He couldn’t imagine a woman more beautiful, more intelligent, more witty, more just, more …

Oohwww, to be her servant, the chosen one to please her in everything she would desire. To be the one to clean her house, wash her clothes, shine her shoes or comb her hair. The lucky one to be corrected when making mistakes. To feel her eyes follow him around. To watch his every move. To know her guidance and tenderness, to hear the sound of being spanked or whipped for being ignorant and stubborn.

He already was absolutely sure that would be the ultimate honour and he was prepared to do anything in order to achieve that utter bliss. He knew the road was long and certainly would be bumpy but happily and slightly impatiently he started his first task to perform. He would be a good boy and she would be proud …

You get 5 words and with these 5 words you have to write an entry. The words might or might not be related. You decide how to combine them, and how long your entry will be. You tag your entry with 5wordchallenge and whatever other tags you like. Finally, you put the words in bold. This week's challenge: light, smoke, pillow, whipped, chat. In one week the challenge will be passed on to someone who participated in this one, hosted by me.

August, time of doldrums
She recesses with ferocity,
but her flashlight shyness
obviously doesn't wash.

Passing on the 5 word challenge

In Too lazy to assign a category on January 15, 2007 at 8:19 pm

I'm happy to see there are 9 people who took up the first 5 word challenge, that is according to my VoxWatch page, when looking at the feed for the 5wordchallenge tag. I've seen Brain Dead replying on Michelle's entry and I noticed Favewrites did his own version being inspired by Michelle's entry, and a web site called Stephen L. Thompson's 5 Word Challenge. I'd say that's a pretty good response.

Now the time has come to pass on the challenge. I have (re)read the 9 entries that are tagged 5wordchallenge.

Michelle captured some fragile moments, filled with tenderness. Electric Firefly wrote about jealousy, impotence, anger and a turning point. Amanda's style is very different. She writes in the first person, except for one sentence. Anyone know why she did this? Anyway, this entry also is about matters of the heart. An entire different kind of reaction though. RPM titled her entry 'Following orders'. Turned out it wasn't all that simple. And was she even following orders? Whose orders? Liz writes about witchcraft, cleaning and memories. She was afraid her entry was 'a tad bit rough' but perhaps that's just the way that entry was supposed to be. EMM chose to use the words in a 'commentary paper', and Michael describes longing, for adventure, passion, and one night stands, time passing and a big, big world. Unique got inspired while swimming, and likes a 6 letter word beginning with 'f' and ending 'er'. Bi-n desu finally wrote about cultural imperialism, punk and teenage life.

Some didn't follow instructions exactly. Some used earphone or headphones instead of headphone, and flowers instead of flower. Some didn't put all the given words in bold. Some didn't post the 'instructions', leaving their readers wondering who was 'in charge'. But for once I won't be picky *grin*

I suggest that during the next challenge, the person choosing the words, and all that participate, post:

And now, without further ado … the next person in charge of this challenge is …

headphone, thrills, flower, china, mirror

In Too lazy to assign a category on January 7, 2007 at 12:21 am

She always took pleasure in drinking tea, especially when served in the finest china. The jasmine tea she was drinking right now was of excellent quality and a well chosen gift from one of her admirers. He had sent her the tea accompagnied by one chrysanthemum flower and one jasmine flower, expressing his feelings for her in a subtle way. The chrysanthemum was of an intense red, the jasmine flower a fragile yellow.

Yellow jasmine, symbol of timidity and modesty. Well, he certainly was a timid and modest person. She remembered how they first met. She caught his eyes when looking in the mirror she was thinking of buying. The simple yet very elegant antique mirror was over 200 years old but in perfect shape. Although expensive, worth every cent. When he realised she had noticed he was watching her, he pretended to be very interested in a baroque armchair. That amused her, as the chair didn’t seem to fit his personality (which was confirmed later when she got to know him).

At the same time, at the other side of town, he picked up the headphone set he bought the day before and got his thrills from listening to music. He thought about their dinner date. It had been a quiet and intimate dinner in a little known restaurant. The food however had been exquisite and her company a privilege. He admired her very much and would do anything to please her. He saw how she really enjoyed the tea they served at the restaurant and hoped she would equally enjoy the tea he sent her the other day as a token of his appreciation.
